Share Your Train's Live Location — Help Other Passengers
Bangladesh Railway has no public live GPS feed, so a train on the map is normally placed where the timetable says it should be. When you are on the train, one tap shares where it really is — and everyone waiting at the next stations sees the real position and delay.
On the train
Open the live map and tap your train, or open the train's page. Press "I'm on this train" and allow location access. Keep the page open while you travel; sharing stops by itself when you leave the train's route, and one tap stops it any time.
At a station
Press "I'm at a station" and say whether the train has arrived or left. That tells everyone how late it is running.
You control sharing
No account, name or phone number. Your position is only used to place the train on the map, lives in the server's memory and is deleted on its own. To show typical delays later, only the train, the station and the confirmed delay are kept — never a device, a position or a network address.
Confirmed or not
When two or more passengers on different networks agree, the position counts as confirmed. With a single source the page says "One source, unconfirmed", and a large delay claimed by one passenger is held within limits.
In a browser, sharing pauses when the screen turns off. The Android app keeps sharing with the screen off.
